Well - I have decided to create a new blog that is associated with my website. Hopefully it will make it easier for me to stay on top of! So please follow me here....

I've been tagged! I just noticed that I have been tagged by a fellow blogger, Sharon (back on April 26th!!)! Guess I need to update my blog more often, huh!?! LOL! Check out Sharon's blog here.

Okay - so now I have to tell you 7 things about myself, and then tag 7 other bloggers.

So here goes:

1. I am the oldest of three children. I was mad when my brother came along when I was 6 because he "stole" my playroom! And my sister is 15 years younger than me!

2. I have been married to Randy for 4 years but we have been together for 9 years on the 27th of this month! Boy, how time flies!!

3. I have a six....sixt...sixteen year old daughter (boy that was hard!!!) named Katie. She just got her license a few months ago - so I am a nervous wreck! I also have a 14 year old stepson and a 20 year old stepdaughter

4. I was hit by a car when I was 10 and spent from Halloween (no - I wasn't trick or treating - it happened in the morning) until Thanksgiving in the hospital.

5. I have (2) English Mastiffs, (2) Grey Tiger kitty's, (2) horses & (1) Bunny! Yes - it is a regular Noah's Ark at my house! LOL

6. I am still very good friends with Kim and Kristine (sisters) - who I have known since I was six years old! We have known each other for 30 years! Wow!

7. I love playing the Playstation 3! =)

Instead of tagging these girls (phew... You can all breathe easier now!) - I am just going to list their blogs for your reading enjoyment! These are some of my favorites. Unfortunately, they make my little blog look pathetic! =)

1. Stamps, Paper, Scissors - One of my all time favorites! I just love JanTink! =)
2. Taylored Expressions
3. Dawn's Stamping Thoughts
4. My Time, My Creations, My Stampendence
5. Fresh & Fun
6. Jenn Balcer
7. Stamp A Little Love Baby

OMG! I can't believe the Retirement List this year! If you haven't seen it yet, feel free to check out the interactive one on my website (www.stampingwithchrissie.com) A special thanks to fellow demonstrator, Marni for helping to creat this! =)

Looking at the list - it looks like the new Fall/Winter Collection catalog will be chock full of new stamp sets!!! Yeah! I can't wait. Now the dilemna of how much do I buy now and how much money do I save to buy new sets???!!

Stampin' Up!'s Convention is coming up in July. I am very excited. This is my first year going to Convention and I have heard that it is awesome! I am hoping to meet some of my "sisters" from SplitCoastStamper's! I especially want to meet JanTink. For those of you who do not know Jan - you have to check out her blog here... She is an absolute riot as well as a VERY talented stamper.

Convention means SWAPS! Hundreds of them. Now that the Retired List is out, I can decide on some sets to use. That is the hardest part! Deciding what to make. Once I have that decided, it is just a matter of mass-producing them.

Speaking of swaps. I attended an East Coast Embossers meeting this past weekend which is held by my up-up-upline, Ruth! It was great as always. I hope to have the swaps that I received uploaded to my website by tomorrow night. I received a bunch of great idea's!

Well - that's all for now! Don't forget to check out my website for the Retirement List and this month's specials!

Look at this very pretty card I received from a fellow stamper/blogger in Canada! Thank you, Allison! =) Sorry it took so long to post it! Here in the Northeast US, we got hit with a wind/rain storm last weekend. We had 4-5 inches of water throughout our entire basement and no power for about 36 hours.. =(

Check out Allison's blog at: http://stampinwhenican.blogspot.com/ Who by the way is also a fellow HOCKEY fan! Go DUCKS!!! =)

Look what I got!! A PURSuE Your Art purse. These are sooo neat! They are vinyl style purses that you can decorate any way that you would like. Some people use pictures, etc. I, of course, chose to decorate mine Stampin' Up! style. =)

I saw one on JanTink's blog (who I LOVE for inspiration!! I just wish I could write like her!) and just had to have one. I got it yesterday and had to wait until today to start decorating it! Here is what I have done so far today (just the front). I used sets from the new Spring Mini. Let me know what you think!

I hope to get the back done later tonight.

I am thinking of maybe having a Stamp Camp so my customers (you!) can make these. Please let me know if this is something that would interest you.

Don't miss SU!'s Spring Fever Promotion! Click here for more details.

Don't miss out on this great deal! It is only available until March 31st!

Well, I just joined a small group that is being run by my up-up-line. =) It is going to help me kick my business into gear! One of the first tasks we had was to find a card in the IB&C and reproduce it. I choose this one from Bodacious Bouquet (which is one of my favorite sets!).

Then we had to create our own card using the previous one as an example. This shows the versatility of the IB&C. If you don't feel you are creative enough, just pick up the IB&C. There are so many designs to either copy or modify! Here is my alternate card:

See how easy that is?!

I know, I know! It has been a while!! One of my resolutions for this year is to try and keep this blog up-to-date! = )

Here is what I have been up to:

I have joined a club called Divine Secret Siblings. Everyone who joins is required to mail a certain number of cards per month to another stamper (who is assigned to you). But shhhh - it is a secret. You can't tell them who you are. =) In the meantime, I will be getting cards from another stamper that I don't know. It is really quite fun. I can't show you what I have sent yet because I don't want her to accidently come across my blog and see them! But I promise I will post them once this round is over.

I also held my first Hostess Club night which was on January 10th. I have 10 people signed up for my Hostess Club. Yeah! We will have a lot of fun. The first project we made was an Inventory list. This will help everyone remember what they already have and what they may need.

What is a Hostess Club, you ask? Let me explain:

A Hostess Club is a group of people who agree on purchasing a set amount (or more) of merchandise from me each month. For their participation, each member gets a FREE catalog and is named the designated Hostess for one month. (If you already have a catalog, you may pick a classic stamp pad instead.) The monthly Hostess is entitled to all the free and incentive merchandise available as if an actual workshop had taken place. Each month we will get together at my home and stamp a project.

Even though this club is full - there is always an opportunity to start a new one! If you are interested, please contact me for more information!
